OWNER

Jana is the owner of Radiant Esthetics. Radiant Esthetics MedSpa was founded in 2017 to help clients who want to enhance their natural beauty. Jana grew interested in medical esthetics after she saw how slight enhancements could improve confidence in ones’ appearance.

Jana is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Esthetics Skin Institute and the American Academy of Procedural Medicine. She also is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP).

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Julia is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of nursing experience. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing from the University of Rhode Island, and has built a distinguished career in both clinical care and aesthetics.

With a background in medical-surgical, neurology, telemetry, and oncology/chemotherapy infusion nursing, Julia has honed her skills in a variety of settings, caring for patients with complex health needs. She began her career as a Nurse Practitioner in neurosurgery at Rhode Island Hospital, where she worked as a first assist in the operating room and provided expert care to patients with brain tumors. In 2019, she transitioned into primary care, where she has continued to build meaningful relationships with her patients, offering personalized care and support.

In 2021, Julia expanded her practice into the field of aesthetics, where she discovered a passion for helping patients enhance their natural beauty. Combining the art of aesthetics with the science of medicine allows her to provide thoughtful, customized treatments that help her patients look and feel their best.

A true advocate for wellness, Julia is dedicated to supporting her patients in living their healthiest lives—both inside and out. She is grateful to be able to blend her love for medical science with the creative aspects of aesthetics, providing a holistic approach to patient care.

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Joanna began her career as an esthetics practitioner in 2018 when Radiant Esthetics was just beginning.

She completed her Master’s of Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from the Catholic University of America in the Spring of 2020. Joanna also holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She first began her nursing career in cardiology at Newport Hospital and then transitioned to emergency medicine. She currently works as a Nurse Practitioner in Orthopedic Surgery in Providence, in addition to seeing her clients regularly here at Radiant Esthetics.

Joanna enjoys and appreciates the medical esthetics industry, as she truly believes just subtle enhancements can drastically improve one’s confidence, thus improving one’s mental and physical well-being.

When she’s not working, you can find Joanna spending time at the beach with her daughter and her goofy German Shepherd, Maverick.

ESTHETICIAN

Alexandra joined Radiant Esthetics as an esthetician in June 2021. Alexandra is excited to be offering facials with the Skinceuticals line of professional products.

After graduating from the University of Florida and working in fashion in New York City, Alexandra made a change in 2017 when she pursued her lifelong passion for skincare by attending the Aveda Institute.

Alexandra has worked as an esthetician at Castle Hill Inn and in production for Newport-based skincare company Farm Aesthetics. She is fulfilled by helping clients create skincare routines that serve their lifestyles and meet their goals.

ESTHETICIAN

Meg joined Radiant Esthetics as an esthetician in June 2021. Meg is excited to be offering facials with the Skinceuticals line of professional products as well as hydrafacials, waxing, spray tanning and lash services.

After successfully working in public relations for a speaker company Meg decided it was the right time to make a change. Meg graduated from Rob Roy’s aesthetic program in Worcester, MA in 2005. Upon graduating, Meg worked at Essential Esthetics , one of the top spas in Worcester, MA. After moving to Newport in 2009, Meg worked at The Apothecary before coming to work here at Radiant Esthetics.

Megan has now expanded her services to encompass more than just the face. Meg now offers full body waxing, airbrush spray tanning, brow design and lash lifting and tinting, as well as hydrafacials, facials and chemical peels.

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Amber is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in healthcare, having worked in medical-surgical/telemetry, hematology oncology, and primary care. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2015, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University in 2020. In 2024, Amber earned her graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rhode Island and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Amber’s approach to aesthetics is deeply rooted in her clinical expertise and passion for helping others feel their best. Over the years, she’s developed a strong foundation in patient care, and now, she channels that experience into delivering personalized aesthetic treatments that enhance natural beauty. Amber believes in not just improving appearance but also boosting confidence, ensuring that every treatment is tailored to each client’s unique goals.

With a commitment to safety and precision, Amber continues to expand her knowledge and skills, staying on top of the latest trends and techniques in aesthetics. MASSAGE THERAPIST

Meet Sarah deVries, a dedicated massage therapist skilled in an array of bodywork techniques, including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and shiatsu. Her journey began at the esteemed Costa Rican School of Massage, where she underwent an intensive six-month program, igniting her passion for bodywork.

Driven by a deep love for yoga and the mind-body connection, she strives to reconnect individuals with their inner essence and foster deepened awareness within their bodies. Having called Newport, RI home for over a decade, she takes pride in serving her community through her intuitive approach to therapeutic touch.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Nancy is a dynamic and creative manager with a diverse career spanning over 30 years. Currently managing operations Radiant Esthetics, Nancy brings a unique blend of people-centric leadership and innovation to the role. Nancy served as an estate manager for 13 years, honing exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills. Prior to that there was a decade of experience in the Los Angeles film industry, where she developed a deep understanding of project management and creative collaboration.  Known for fostering strong relationships and maintaining a relaxed yet professional atmosphere, Nancy is committed to creating positive experiences and delivering outstanding results.
